The Cuckoo's Nest is a 700 square foot cabin located at 3500 feet of elevation, just 4 miles off I-26 W (Exit 3 - the Wolf Laurel Exit). It is a beautiful drive up I26 through Buckner Gap. Stop and enjoy the view from the scenic overlook on I-26 just a few miles before Exit 3. Besides having a wood burning stove, this cute home also has a fire pit and just installed A/C! Now you will be warm in the winter and cool in the summer! It also has a screened in porch to enjoy and a fenced in yard for your four-legged friends! A higher profile vehicle is recommended for access to this home!

​Once you get off at Exit 3, it is about 4 miles to The Cuckoo's Nest. The house is a mile down the hill from the entrance to Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and sits directly across the street from Memory Mountain events venue.

It is about 15 minutes to all your shopping needs in Weaverville (Ingles, Publix, Lowe's, Wal-mart, etc.) and just 25 minutes from the house to downtown Asheville. No A/C.
